Who we are
Yusuf Solomon Dishon, Sabon Pegi, Numan, Adamawa State, 642112, Nigeria, operates this website and the sample apps listed here: Kept, Settle, and Slate. Contact yusufsolomon046@gmail.com. Call or chat on WhatsApp:
The website
The site does not require an account. We do not run a server-side mailing list.
- Cookie choice, saved in local storage under halyard-consent.
- Publisher-desk checklist, under halyard-desk, if you tick items.
- Contact notes you send, plus a copy under halyard-notes on that device.
- App waitlist emails you choose to save, under halyard-waitlist, on that device only.
When you submit the contact form or an app waitlist, your name (or the app name), email address, topic, and message are stored in this site’s database and shown in the studio inbox. Only a person signed in with yusufsolomon046@gmail.com can open that inbox. We do not add you to a mailing list, and this site does not send an automatic reply. A copy of a contact note can also remain on your device. Standard hosting logs (such as IP address and browser type) may be kept by the company that hosts the published site, for security, for a short period.
The apps
Kept stores amounts, notes, and dates you type. Settle stores the timer length you last chose. Slate stores list items and two display names. In the versions described on this site, that information stays on the device. There is no account and no cloud backup.
Uninstalling an app removes what it stored, subject to your phone’s own backup system. We do not receive the contents of your cashbook, timer, or shopping list.
Advertising
Web ads on this site load only if two things are true: a Google AdSense client ID and slot ID from an account we own are configured, and you have allowed advertising cookies. Until then, no advertising script is requested.
The apps may later include a mobile ad SDK such as Google AdMob. If they do, the SDK can receive an advertising identifier, coarse device information, and ad interaction data, under Google’s own policy. The apps do not ask you to tap ads, and core features are not locked behind an ad view. If a build does not include an ad SDK, it does not share an advertising identifier.
You can reject advertising cookies on this site at any time from the footer. On a phone, you can reset or limit the advertising ID in system settings, and you can opt out of personalized ads where the platform allows it.
Why we use this information
- To remember the choice you made about advertising cookies (consent).
- To keep the pages secure and available (legitimate interest, or the host’s own terms).
- To reply if you email us (steps you asked us to take).
- To show ads, only where you allowed them and an SDK is actually present (consent).
Who else receives it
If advertising is enabled, Google may process ad data as an independent controller or as described in its own terms. We do not sell personal information. We do not share the contents of Kept, Settle, or Slate with advertisers, because those contents are not sent to us.
How long it stays
Local notes remain until you clear site data or until the page overwrites them. Emails you send us are kept long enough to answer and to keep a record of the reply, then deleted when we no longer need them. Host logs follow the host’s retention. Advertising identifiers are handled by the ad provider and your device settings.
Children
The site and these apps are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has emailed us, write to the address above and we will delete the message.
Nigeria and other countries
We are established in Nigeria. The Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 applies to personal data we actually process. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can refuse non-essential cookies, and you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold (for example an email you sent). You may also complain to your local authority. The Nigeria Data Protection Commission is the relevant authority for our processing in Nigeria.
Changes
If an app starts collecting a new category of data, this page will change in the same release, and the date at the top will move. The store listing should be updated to match.
