What it stores
- List items and the two display names you type, on the device.
- No cloud account in this version, so there is no password to breach.
- An advertising identifier only if the build includes an ad SDK.
How the free app can make money
A labeled ad may sit under the list in the free app. Checking an item is never an ad click. Slate does not sell the contents of the list.
